Documentation

Documentation,
in plain English.

From your first deployment to production at scale.

Your first deployment

  1. Create your account. Developer starts with the 14-day free trial, no credit card required.
  2. Tell Plexivo AI what to run, by voice or text, or paste a repository link.
  3. Review the plan and its price, in US dollars.
  4. Approve. Plexivo builds, deploys and checks it, then gives you the live address.

The Plexivo CLI

Sign in through your browser, the way gcloud auth login works. Each session is limited to the access you choose and ends on its own.

# macOS and Linux
curl -fsSL https://github.com/plexivo/plexivo-cli/releases/latest/download/install.sh | sh
# Approve the code in your browser
plexivo auth login
plexivo auth status
# Reach a database, even a private one
plexivo db connect orders-db
plexivo auth logout
  • Read only looks, never changes.
  • Operate creates, changes and opens tunnels.
  • Full does everything you can.

Sessions last 1 to 24 hours, set by your organisation. On a server, add --no-browser. For CI, use an API key with PLEXIVO_TOKEN.

Plexivo AI

Ask in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali or Marathi. Every change is planned and priced, and waits for your approval.

Deploy from Git

Connect GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket in one click and every push deploys. A public repository deploys from its link alone.

  • Branch, build and port detected for you
  • Roll back to any earlier version

Migrate to Plexivo

Bring an app or database from another provider: what you do, what Plexivo does, and how the switch is kept short.

Plexivo App Runner

Run web apps and APIs from source or a container image, with HTTPS, autoscaling and health checks.

  • Environment variables and secrets
  • Custom domains with automatic TLS

Plexivo Postgres

PostgreSQL 17 with backups, point-in-time recovery, read replicas, and a Data API your frontend can call directly.

  • Public, trusted IPs only, or private
  • High availability with a synchronous standby

Plexivo MySQL

MySQL 8.4 LTS for WordPress, WooCommerce, Laravel and Magento, with backups and recovery to any point in time.

Plexivo Cache

A Redis-compatible cache over TLS, with its own certificate authority to verify every connection.

Plexivo Kubernetes

Apply your manifests with kubectl in your own namespace. Plexivo runs the cluster and bills what your pods use.

Plans and wallet

Top up a wallet and pay only for what runs. Plan fees are yearly by default, or monthly. Wallets are in US dollars for everyone; Indian customers pay in rupees at this month’s rate (RBI reference rate fixed on the 1st + a 2% conversion margin) plus 18% GST and receive a GST tax invoice in rupees.

Save on steady usage

Commit to a monthly amount for one or three years and pay less. Moving from another provider? Ask for migration credits.

Uptime and reliability

99.9% uptime on Startup, Business and Enterprise, with credits paid automatically, and recovery measured in public.

Security and privacy

Isolated customers, encryption in transit and at rest, and approval before change. Your apps run in our Mumbai data centre; backups are copied to Hyderabad. Nothing leaves India.

Build with Plexivo Postgres.

Client libraries for your database’s Data API, sign-in and realtime, with row-level security deciding what each request can read and write.

JavaScript and TypeScript

For the browser, React Native, Vue and Node. @plexivo/client on npm.

npm install @plexivo/client

import { createClient } from '@plexivo/client';

const db = createClient(DATA_URL, PUBLISHABLE_KEY);
await db.auth.signInWithPassword({ email, password });
const posts = await db.from('posts')
  .where('likes', '>', 10)
  .limit(20);

Flutter and Dart

For mobile and desktop apps. plexivo_client on pub.dev.

flutter pub add plexivo_client

import 'package:plexivo_client/plexivo_client.dart';

final plexivo = PlexivoClient(dataUrl, publishableKey);
await plexivo.signInWithPassword(
  email: email,
  password: password,
);
final items = await plexivo.from('items').select();

The data URL and publishable key are on your database’s Connect tab. The secret key is for servers only; never put it in a browser or mobile app.

Ready when you are.
