Plexivo MySQL.

The database behind WordPress, WooCommerce, Laravel and Magento — managed for you.

MySQL 8.4, ready in minutes

Choose a size, a region and how long to keep backups, and approve the price. You get a database, a generated user and a connection string that works with the drivers and plugins you already use.1

Your data, protected

A full backup every night, kept for as long as you choose within your plan, and binary logs archived continuously so the database can be brought back to any moment inside that time. A restore always creates a new database, so the original keeps serving while you check the copy.

A standby when it matters

Add a standby and Plexivo promotes it automatically if the primary’s node fails, with the same address throughout. On Business it is included. Read replicas scale your reads out.

Connections you can plan around

Every size comes with a connection limit shown on the create form before you buy — 60 connections at the smallest size, 1,000 at 8 GB — and the database keeps it. Plexivo’s own monitoring and backups connect separately and never use yours.2

Patched for you, on your schedule

Security fixes and minor updates are applied in a weekly window you choose, after an email telling you what and when. A database with a standby is updated replicas first and switches over instead of stopping, and an update that does not come up healthy is rolled back automatically. Apply one early, or postpone it within limits.

You decide who connects

New databases are public with TLS and a generated password. Limit them to your trusted networks, with your own IP one click away, or make them private: reachable only from your apps and Kubernetes on Plexivo. From your laptop, plexivo db connect opens a short-lived, encrypted tunnel for MySQL Workbench, TablePlus or the mysql client.

Priced exactly as Postgres

The same sizes, the same parts, the same rates — from US$16.50 a month for 0.25 vCPU, 512 MB and 10 GB.3
